Cancellation & Refund Policy

For Short Duration/Weekend Trips (Trips less than 3 Days)

The refund of the trip amount paid will be processed as per the following deduction guidelines:

  • Cancellations up to 60 days before departure date – 0% deduction
  • Between 59 days to 45 days before departure – 50% deduction
  • Between 45 days to 25 days before departure – 70% deduction
  • Between 24 days to 7 days before departure – 80% deduction
  • Less than 7 days before departure – No refund

For Long Duration Trips (Trips more than 3 Days)

The refund of the total trip amount paid will be processed as per the following deduction guidelines:

  • Cancellations up to 75 days before departure date – 0% deduction
  • Between 75 days to 45 days before departure – 50% deduction
  • Between 45 days to 15 days before departure – 75% deduction
  • Less than 15 days before departure – No refund

For International Trips (Trips more than 3 Days)

The refund of the total trip amount paid will be processed as per the following deduction guidelines:

  • Cancellations up to 75 days before departure date – 0% deduction
  • Between 75 days to 45 days before departure – 50% deduction
  • Between 45 days to 30 days before departure – 75% deduction
  • Less than 30 days before departure – No refund

Rules Applicable for Change/Cancellation of Booking by the Participant

Process:

  • Email your cancellation/change request to contact@tripzi.in.
  • No cancellations will be accepted over phone or WhatsApp.
  • Please reply to the booking confirmation email received at the time of booking.
  • The booking amount for all packages/trips is non-refundable.

Replacement of Participant(s):

  • You may replace any participant in your booking if the status is “Paid” and there are at least 7 days remaining prior to departure.
  • Replacement is not applicable for Volvo/Train/Flight tickets booked for the participant; such tickets will be automatically canceled.

Mode of Refund:

  • Once your cancellation is confirmed, a Credit Note will be sent via email within 2 working days.

Payment Gateway Charges:

  • Refunds will incur a 2.5% Payment Gateway charge + 5% GST, except for payments made via UPI, which are exempt.

Rules Applicable for Changes/Cancellation by Tripzi

Tripzi reserves the right to cancel or change any facilities, services, or prices described in brochures or on the website.

  • Arrangements are planned months in advance; minor changes may occur.
  • Transport timings and carriers are indicative and may change.
  • Final itinerary and tickets will be sent 2–3 days prior to departure.

Force Majeure / Unforeseen Circumstances:

  • Includes natural calamities, government orders, extreme weather, strikes, protests, pandemics, technical transport issues, or any event beyond Tripzi’s or suppliers’ control.

Rules in such situations:

  • Alternate trip options may be offered if possible, but no cash refunds will be provided.
  • A Travel Voucher / Credit Shell for the full booking amount will be issued, redeemable for the same or another trip within 1 year from the original departure date.
  • Extra expenses arising from such circumstances must be borne by the participant.

Changes/Cancellations After Departure

  • Tripzi is not responsible for refunds if changes or cancellations arise from force majeure or other reasons beyond control.

Unused Services

  • No refunds for missed or unused services, voluntary or involuntary departures, sickness, or late arrivals.

Dropout During Trip

  • Tripzi is not responsible for refunds in case of participant dropout.
  • Additional costs for retreat or unplanned arrangements are the responsibility of the participant.
  • Tripzi reserves the right to deny such dropouts if arrangements are not feasible.

Community & Conduct

  • Tripzi reserves the right to refuse service, including cancellations, to anyone who:
    • Falsifies communication
    • Uses abusive behavior
    • Attempts to defame or undermine the community via social media or public platforms
  • Polite communication is expected; respectful participants will be assisted accordingly.
